      Palate: Sweet and peaty. Very smoky, but with peach and apricot and apple pits, oily and spicy, fatter and fuller than most Taliskers, aggressive and masculine.

      Finish: Long and peaty, the trademark pepper appears at the end.

Good toffee and hints of very wistful smoke. Chocolate, hints of grass and a good hit of malt. The finish is floral, oaky, good length, urged on by a plume of very well-kept, highland style smoke. Dried fruit, spice, honey.

      Coffee and salt are very present with a hint of peat and some sweeter notes of caramel in the background. The finish is hot and spicy and clings on for some time.

      The nose is fruity and well malted with gentle sweetness. Some smoke and a touch of honey. The mouth feel is quite big with a supple maltiness and the vaguest whisper of muted peat. The finish is well fruited with toffee, malt and a faint hint of smoke.
